This notice explains how Promax Digitals Enterprise handles personal data in connection with this website, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (the PDPA).
Who We Are
This website and Trackwright are run by Promax Digitals Enterprise. Trackwright is a product of Promax Digitals Enterprise. For anything in this notice, write to adrian@promaxdigitals.com.
What This Website Collects
- Nothing you type into the site. The site has no forms and no accounts, and it does not set cookies of its own.
- Your theme choice. If you use the light or dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive what you send, such as your name, your email address and your message. Giving us this information is voluntary, and you can browse the site without giving us any personal data.
- Technical data handled by Cloudflare. Cloudflare delivers this site and may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We may also use Cloudflare’s privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics to see overall visit numbers.
- Fonts from Google. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to fetch them and Google receives your IP address.
Why We Use It
- To reply to your message and, if you ask, arrange a Trackwright walkthrough.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To understand overall use of the site.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any walkthrough that follows, and afterwards only for as long as those purposes or the law require. Technical data held by Cloudflare is kept under Cloudflare’s own retention periods.
Who We Share It With
We use service providers to run this website and to receive your messages. They handle personal data on our behalf or under their own terms:
- Cloudflare for hosting, DNS, security and analytics.
- Our email provider, which receives the emails you send us.
- Google, for fonts.
Some of these providers may process data outside Malaysia.
Your Rights Under the PDPA
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may:
- ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date; and
- withdraw your consent to our processing it.
To use any of these rights, email adrian@promaxdigitals.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer deal with your enquiry.
